March 18th

We spend so much time traveling to competitions and races that sometimes it's hard to find the time to give back. For the last two years at the New Plymouth, New Zealand World Cup, we got the opportunity to appear at the local school, Devon Intermediate School, to talk and interact with the students.

The children welcomed us  with a special traditional dance and we got to spend the day hanging out with them. Prior to us arriving they put on a local triathlon and we got to hand out special awards for that.

It was such a fun day. The students were filled with so much energy and excitement. They asked a ton of funny questions too like, "If we climbed Mount Everest."

October 15th

A group of OTC Athletes and I got the opportunity to volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House Charity 40th Birthday Bash. RMHC is a "home-away-from-home" for families of seriously ill children receiving medical treatment nearby.

If you'd like to get involved, visit their website
